Bicycles not only accomplish people’s travel needs but also bring many health enhancement and anti-aging effect amazingly. Daily cycling is a method of health maintenance recommended by experts around the worlds.

Cycling benefits for age-related problems

The latest research in the USA show that cycling has a close bond with the aging process of the body in the positive way. This means that regular cyclists will have a slower aging rate than others so they tend to be looked healthier and younger than their age.

The fact is that if people do not do exercises regularly, their muscles will be easier to lose strength. This, in turn, causing signs of aging. Scientists have conducted a long term health monitoring study of middle-age people who has a high level of physical activities, especially those who regularly cycle; they found a strong connection between their age and body parts functions. Compared to people of the same age band who lead a less sedentary lifestyle; those who exercise regularly have the same metabolism level as the young age people; and they can remain a high level of memory, balance and relaxation.

On the other hand, more surprising than the anti-aging benefits, cycling also has a positive effect on the immune system in human body. One of the body part called Thymus produces immune cells called T-cells. But the body usually start to decline these cells from the year people turns 20 years old.However, when seeking for these cells in bodies of cycling people, scientists found that their Thymus produces more T-cells than others even compared with young generation.  

Other benefits from cycling

Regularly cycling also works to strengthen the bone and joint power, prevent disc degeneration, help to improve bond density network significantly.

In addition, cycling has many other advantages such as: reducing stress and increasing mental health, strengthening muscles, recovering injuries, increasing joint flexibility, helping to sleep better, improving mind condition, lose weight …
