You should put the ruler stand to bolt upright so that it is perpendicular to the ground and the chain. You can use your finger to press the chain so that it slows down to the lowest position. Then, you record the number on the ruler at that time. Similarly, you use your finger to push the chain up and record the number on the ruler. If you deduct these two numbers each other, you will get the amplitude of oscillation at present. We continue to adjust until the amplitude of oscillation meets the manufacturer's specifications.
Cut the chain after adjusting
To cut the chain you need some specialized tools to support. You only need to put the chain into the center of the tool, then, adjust and proceed to cut. All operations are less than 10 seconds.

Connect the bike chain
